The Technical Services Division is responsible for collecting and maintaining the infrastructure data for the District’s service area. The Division maintains a GIS (Geographic Information System) mapping system to include locations of the assets in the service area. GPS (Global Positioning System) is used to collect the location data then transferred to the GIS mapping system.
Technical Services is also responsible for installation inspection of water mains in new subdivisions, the Districts Safety Program, and care and maintenance of the IT (Information Technology) equipment.
