Kittery, Maine – The Kittery Water District will begin its Annual Spring Flushing Program the week of April 8th weather dependent.
Work will continue for about six weeks until all the mains have been flushed.
- Main lines and fire hydrants will be flushed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Side roads and dead-end roads will be flushed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Residents who see a Water District truck in the neighborhood are asked to refrain from using water.
Work begins in York, continues into Kittery and Eliot, and ends in Kittery Point.
