Kittery, Maine – The Kittery Water District will begin its spring flushing program on Thursday, March 23rd.
Work will continue for about six weeks until all the mains have been flushed.
- Main lines and fire hydrants will be flushed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Side roads and dead-end roads will be flushed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Residents who see a Water District truck in the neighborhood are asked to refrain from using water.
Work begins in York, continues into Kittery and Eliot, and ends in Kittery Point.
